I think that I would like to do research on the history of bras in advertisements. It is an essential(hopefully)part of every women’s wardrobe. I think it would be interesting and and education to see what has appealed to women through out the decades.

This could make for some fascinating research. What brand exactly will you research? Perhaps a good place to start is researching the history of the bra as an everyday article of clothing. What brands/ads helped develop this invention as a “necessity”? From there you might want to consider why and how bras evolved over time (and even the moments where not whereing a bra was equivalent to liberation.) Focus your topic to a brand after doing the necessary historical research to contextualize the bra in historical and cultural terms.
